    Nice quality suit, but 42R was very small through the chest. I was not fond of the plaid. Returned this suit.

    Absolutely fabulous...IF you order a full size up from your regular size. Thankfully a previous reviewer had written to warn me prior to purchase. This is the finest material of any suit I've owned.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Beautiful suit - but ordered in my normal size 44L and could barely put the jacket on - ordered up a size to 46L and still the jacket was too tight. Was unsure if I'd gained some weight - but when I tried on my new Arnold Brant sportcoat in 44L it fit perfectly. Too bad - I wasted [$] just to try on two suits that were mis-sized.

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    The suit is truly a beauty. And a huge bargain. Ordered it for my college-age son, who is tall and trim and has trouble finding suits that are fitted enough given his 6'3" height. A 40L Banana Republic suit coat fits him fairly well - this 40L was actually a bit bigger through the torso. He had to have the pants taken in (he's a 32/34 regularly). This is the first review I've written, just wanted to give input on the size.
