“Having read the reviews of the irregular sizing of this sport coat, I took the chance of ordering it a couple of sizes larger than I ordinarily wear. Hence, I ordered a 48R instead of size 44R that usually fits me. As it turns out, the 48R fits just right. While I'm not sure this applies to everyone or the other sizes, it worked out. So do be very aware that this sport coat is not likely sized consistently as labeled. The velvet does have a very distinctive luster.”
