Arnold Brant Wool Gabardine Blazer - Fabric by Loro Piana (For Men)

I gave this to my husband for Christmas--it fit well and draped beautifully (here comes the BUT)--there were no buttons! Two buttonholes, yet a search of all pockets turned up only a single button needing to be sewn on. Now he has to take it to the tailor's and purchase two buttons and have them sewn on. For a major wardrobe purchase, this was disappointing and inconvenient, not to mention embarrassing that I ended up giving him an errand/project and an additional expense as part of a gift. He felt badly about it, and the photograph clearly shows the jacket buttoned.

Very nice quality jacket. Beautiful, lighter weight wool. rear vents don't lie flat, but haven't had it pressed yet.

The jacket was a "long" (only stock remaining) but is just right, suggesting a "regular" might not have done the job.

The jacket is awkwardly cut. The arms are cut narrow and jacket is uncomfortable.

I dress up some casual attire to make it work appropriate

Adequate materials and good tailoring; nice fit except the sleeves are inexplicably, disproportionately long. This is the only 42 Short coat I've ever purchased that needed the sleeves altered. All other dimensions were perfect; just somebody grossly messed up the sleeves. So when you add the cost of alterations the value of this purchase goes WAY down.

Great blazer and great fabric. First blazer in a long time that fit me off the rack.

fits me well, not a luxurius fabric, more like hopsack than what i expected.
