“These cups are a great idea that was poorly implemented. They are a bit too big, made from some sort of light weight earthenware. The pewter badge is actually very nice, but too small for the size of the cup. If the cup were a bit smaller (~4" in diameter) and china or high end ceramic, or even if the pewter badge was a little larger...if you like the large size of the cup/bowl. In any event, I will return them. I got an extra set to give as a gift, but would never give these to a friend. Even at 1/2 the price, they would not be of any value to me.”
