Reviewed by shopper from Tucson, AZ on Friday, September 14, 2012I really like this jacket. I live in a hot climate so a short sleeve jacket is perfect. It is really neutral colored; I was afraid the red listed in the description would be very dominant but the jacket looks like a neutral tan color from a distance. It is only close up that the narrow red dotted pinstripe in observable. The only thing I don't really like is that it has a lining - the jacket is cotton/linen so I don't think it needs one and the silky polyester lining makes it a bit less breathable and sticks to you when you sweat. I live in AZ so it might not be an issue in more temperate climates.

I suppose puffy sleeves have been "In" but they really don't look good on my more short but formidable body type. The puffy areas make me look more big than I am. Who wants that? I really like the straight safari look but this jacket is not that. A slender, perhaps taller, girly girl may be able to pull off the puffy. I am sad to send it back.
