I'm a new runner, and every running friend I had said: "Get Asics, they are the best running shoe made!" So I was thrilled to see STP's (great priced!) selection.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Murray from Roanoke, VA on Thursday, October 25, 2012I have an extra bone in my feet which makes the arches very flat. I have to use the Asics Gel Kayano, which is horribly expensive, and then replace the inserts with Montrail Enduro insoles for added support. I bought these hoping to find a cheaper solution. Even with the Enduro insoles these were way too flexible in the midfoot and I could not run in them. I am looking forward to wearing them to the gym, though.
- Best Uses: Gym, Walking
- Cons: Not supportive
- Pros: Comfortable
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Momoftwo from Minnesota on Wednesday, October 10, 2012Comfortable shoes right out of the box. True to size. The silver color looks better than I thought it would, silver really goes well with almost any casual clothing/workout/jeans. I use for working out and around town casual wear. One complaint is that the mesh over the toe is very open which allows alot of sand in if I wear them to the playground with the kids, also makes them prone to easily getting in water from puddles; but it would be great if you are concerned about ventilation on you feet while running.
- Best Uses: Everyday, Workout
- Cons: Large Mesh
- Pros: Comfortable, Good Looking, Good price
Verified Buyer Reviewed by College Girl from West Coast, USA on Tuesday, August 28, 2012I'm an underpronater and these at least haven't aggravated the problem. Size-wise, I am usually 9-9.5 in street shoes and slightly wide; I got these in 10 and they are perfect! 10.5 might have been okay, too. I use these to walk, mostly on uneven trail surfaces, but I might attempt to jog in them, as they feel well-padded and supportive. They are shinier (more silver-colored) than I expected, but that's fine.
