Asics Gel-Eagle Trail V Running Shoes - Stability (For Women)

Asics tend to fit well on my narrow foot, and this shoe fits that pattern. Maybe too narrow for a medium to wider foot.

These shoes are excellent to run in. They offer great support and have good padding! They are just what I need to run on my cross country team this fall!!!

My regular running shoes are Asics, and I order a half size up in them. I had to order a full size up in these. I used them in a run/bike race on trails and they were perfect for stability and the uneven terrain.

I have worn the shoes several times to the gym for weight and aerobics training. I have to wear thinner socks to adjust for fit which is overall a bit smaller than the other 7.5 Asics shoes I have. The design (fly gizmo/tabs which flop around the back of the shoe at the ankle and the shorter and narrower tongue) and materials (mesh is looser weave) are somewhat "off" the usual standard look and make me question whether the shoes are knock offs...?

I like to take nature photos and travel a lot - so i wanted some shoes that would treat my feet well and hold up to the conditions (like the Everglades!) - these are perfect for pounding pavement or rocky trails, they dry quickly when they get wet and my feet don't get too hot after a long day in them. They can transition from a run or jog to a day of sightseeing with a quick change of socks! I love Asics!
