1.0 out of 5 stars. Cheaply MadeReviewed by JDP from Arizona on Saturday, September 13, 2014Very dissappointed in Asics making a shoe of such poor quality & pricing so high. The upper is cheaply made with no support at the heal & the lower offers even less support. Even as a casual shoe they are mediocre & are barely good enough to use, let alone to try & use for running. Don't lower yourself to the other big shoe company's standards, or lack there of, Asics.

1.0 out of 5 stars. not goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by fabric girl from Michigan on Thursday, September 11, 2014The actual shoes would have been nice and true to the quality that I expect from Asics shoes. They are lightweight and comfy but they don't have as much arch as some of the other running shoes. The only problem with them is that they must have been returned and looked worn. there were pebbles in the bottom and dirty and some tread gone on the tips. I have never had this happen before from STP so I was really surprised when I saw it. I thought something was wrong since they arrived a week later than the other items on my order. Just wasn't the normal service from STP. Of course returned them and will start looking again.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Hiking ShoeReviewed by Peggy from MI on Friday, August 29, 2014this is my first pair of Asics. I had been having sore feet from my trusted keens after a day of hiking. I talked to a representative from Sierra and after telling her where and when I was wearing my shoes she strongly recommended for me to try the Asics. Even though they are running shoes, the terrain and miles that I put on my feet she recommended I try running shoes for the wonderful support. I wore them for the first time hiking about 5 miles, NO blisters, NO sore spots, NO rubbing anywhere....I love it. I will purchase another pair for winter. These are very light weight and I don't think they would be warm enough for our Michigan weather in the winter even with extra layer socks. These did run smaller and I had to order a larger size after ordering my normal size. I ordered a 1/2 size larger and they fit perfectly.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by MissRed from Florida on Thursday, August 14, 2014I have suffered from lower back pain for years and know the importance of a good fitting shoe. These shoes are lightweight, comfortable, and afford me the ability to work 12 hour shifts without suffering back pain. I have already ordered another pair.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice shoes for running and loafingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Reed from North Carolina on Tuesday, August 5, 2014I have been buying Asics quite regularly for some years, and like this shoe style for robustness, comfort for my wide feet and high arches, breathability, and usefulness for speedwalking. The nylon on the upper foot is reinforced, so my toe doesn't end up wearing a hole in it before the rest of the shoe wears out. The women's shoe is a tad small and tight in the forefoot for me, so I size up or buy the men's model.
