I didn't see the same pair she had on Sierra Trading Post, so I got the best pair they had during that sale. From what i've heard my wife say, the toe box takes a little bit of time to break in. Also, compared to the last asics, there is not as much cushion under the ball of her foot. The sole in the back is quite cushioned, but she has mentioned that it has taken a little bit to get used to bc she occasionally catches the edge of the back on the floor while walking. The more I looked at the shoes in person, the more I think they make for a good light weight pair which would be good for a heal striking runner looking to do 5 and 10Ks.
