Reviewed by markyz from Plymouth, MI on Tuesday, November 20, 2012I planned to use these shoes for light trail hiking. So far the arch support is too high for my flat feet.(always a problem for me) I am continuing to try to break them in (only had them for a couple of weeks.) Very grippy soles.

Reviewed by JW from Bozeman on Saturday, November 10, 2012For me these fit like most Asics - snug through the heel and mid-foot, roomy enough up in the toes, with good cushioning and motion control. I use them for trail runing, and they let me feel the terrain, but rocks don't beat up the bottoms of my feet. I overpronate (and have high arches) and these shoes control it well without causing my feet to roll to the outside. Really grippy sole and overall nice, burly feel without weighing a ton. Great all around trail running shoe. Hard to beat at STP's price.

Reviewed by Trailblazer from Moab, UT on Friday, October 26, 2012May not last long (no modern shoes do), but for now they're very comfortable. That gel stuff works great, it's in the insert. I pulled out the insert and put in another one and the shoes were not nearly as comfortable. I put the original one back in. That's why I say that it might not last long, but I guess we'll see.
