“These stand up to my 11 year old boy”

“I purchased these for my son, who is just big enough to begin wearing regular men's sizes. He liked the styling and look of the shoes, but was absolutely crazy about the fit and the fact that they were waterproof. He's worn these to a field trip to a wetlands park and running on the beach, and has never once complained about wet feet. Additionally, though his feet tend to overheat in shoes, he hasn't mentioned this about these even after wearing them to his regular indoor gym class - from which I conclude that they are breathable in spite of the waterproofing. Finally, I note that the arch support seems good even though my son's feet are very slightly flat, and that they seem true to size in the 6.5. So - if they can stand up to his abuse, I'm sure they'd be terrific for adult wear as well.”
