“I bought these in the spring and they immediately felt too tight and hurt my feet, particulalry the right side. I bought 7's and my last Asics were 7's with no problem. I loved the shoe and a 7.5 wasn;t available, so I thought maybe I could break them in, and bought another pair of Asics for running (a discontinued model, which I love) and started to wear these for walks and work through the spring and summer. They did become more comfortable, and I LOVE the support and stability. I wore them on some substantial hikes on vacation and they were great except for some minor heel blisters. I started to find them really comfortable and decided they might be ready for a run. Well, the left shoe was awesome, and performed really well. It protected the soles of my feet from rocks, and provided excellent support and cushioning. The right shoe started out vry comofrtable, but still had that slight tightness and felt narrower. After 4 miles I started to get a terrible blister on the top of my foot near my big toe all the way to the front inner pad. And it had happened each time I have worn them for running, so I have relegated them for hiking and walking. I still love the shoe and would recommend. I think a 1/2 size up would have helped, but sometimes sizes are hit or miss here. Still an Asics fan for life.”
