Good traction and very rugged - great for trail running. I'm not crazy about the laces pouch on the tongue - it makes the shoe look chunky.

Usual overall good quality from Asics. Used mainly for comfortable walking shoe. Stands up to most conditions, but a patch of black ice while crossing a street was too much of a challenge. Slipped and took a tumble, so just make sure the trail ahead isn't icy slick and you should be OK.

I love Asics and getting deals on them. This shoe is a little unconventional in terms of its tongue and lacing system, but all the other features are what you'd expect from Asics...good support, impact resistance and comfort. I wear an 8.5 street shoe and normally buy size 9 running shoes which is the size I bought with these and find it to fit just right with about a thumbs width of room at the toe. I'm not convinced they are really sized small as the descriptions suggests.

Graet shoe for the money. Goretex would be nice like my last pair.

I'm a pronator, and bought these shoes just before realising they were for neutral to under-prone feet. [...]Anyway, I tried the shoes and the stresses transmitted up through knees to spine made them almost crippling, but I can certainly see how someone under-prone could be helped by the very powerful correction. So it's fair to say the shoe does what it claims to do...which was bad luck for me.

Best descibed as a medium duty NEUTRAL trail shoe. I mainly tried these, as I needed a neutral trail shoe that could accomodate my orthotics.Overall a decent shoe

I like asics for their fit. Never had blisters or any other nasty stuff. Very cumfortable. The only problem is the sole - it has relief design that is glued to the solid sole base. Glued part starts coming off!

I am a heavy (240 lbs) jogger (10-12 mi/week) on both pavement and trails and this shoe holds up well. I destroyed the last pair I had because I wore them mountain biking which accelerated the tread wear. [$] for this shoe is a great deal.
