On the trail they are stable and get good traction (both runs have been on snow). On the road they are a bit stiff, which is to be expected from a trail shoe. The shoes are a little on the heavy side. Overall a good shoe for the trail at a good value.

Reviewed by Jamie from Colorado on Tuesday, March 12, 2013Initially, these shoes provided a very comfortable fit. After running in them, however, I formed a different opinion. The toe-box is a bit narrower than the normal ASICS D width. This fact caused the toes to cramp and chafe on each other resulting in blisters, particularly on my bunion-riddled right foot that I've been running on, with ASICS help, for years now.
