    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    hubby has used them for running on concrete as well as trail. he finished his first marathon, a mostly-trail one, in these. lots of long runs on trail as well. never had any foot problems or any other issues w/ knees, hips, etc. loves these shoes. he is medium build, medium arch.

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    -I use this 'trail running' shoe for the streets of DC, dodging curbs and walkers is pretty similar to boulders and debris. I purchased a pair of Nike's and they just weren't doing the trick, I was getting shin splints after very little running. Asics is the way to go!

    I primarily run on a crushed limestone trail, but the shoe has an aggressive enough sole for uneven trails also. It really does help overpronators such as myself. Overall a great shoe.
