Asics Trabuco 10 Trail Running Shoes (For Men)

Great stylish snug fitting race shoe that is upto the marathon trail runs, now I have an Asics to match their quality road running shoes for the road trails.

Asics really makes a good trail running shoe. It is very sturdy and just what you need in a trail running shoe. I have a normal pair of Asics running shoes and the size is true to fit.

the open mesh upper make these great for hot weather but useless in winter. a water resistant cool weather version would be more versatile.

The sole is too rigid. Each stride lands with a clunk. It almost feels like I'm running in klompens (Dutch wooden shoes). Hopefully, they'll break in before they wear down.

I'm a tall woman with a large foot so I like the fit of a man's shoe and I know to order a half-size up. These fit like slippers and wear like tank treads. These are my second pair of Asics trailrunners -- can't imagine wearing anything else again. I hit the trail in all kinds of mucky, boggy, sloggy, snowy, icy, slick and just plain whacky New England weather and terrain. They keep their grip and keep my feet warm and dry even through foot high snow. They do not resist a straight dunk into a stream but most things short of that hardly faze 'em.
