    Sorry to leave a negative review, but these boots are extremely heavy and hard to break in. I have a lump on my right ankle from wearing these during casual walks on pavement in Manhattan. I wore them on a rainy day and they had no grip. My foot slipped over a patch of sidewalk...again, I am concerned about taking these on a real hike. Since they were so expensive I will continue to try to break them in, but I wouldn't recommend.

    This shoes have been used in all kind of weather and one thing is sure, this shoes are good but NOT ON ICE, they are really slick. I walk 10-12 km every day, I was hoping this shoes would be more comfy, but I will propably just using them for hiking in sommertime and not for long walks. Once again Asolo makes me dissapointet, this is the second pair a buy, the first one was Asolo Attiva gtx, but I sold them to a friend. My feet are made for walking, I just have to keep on looking for the perfect shoes who get along with my feet in my long walks :)
