Asolo Amazon Gore-Tex® Hiking Shoes - Waterproof (For Women)

Beautiful shoes and very comfy.

I love the ankle support without the stiffness of a boot. I think this style of Asolo is narrower thru the toe than some of my other Asolo shoes so a half size larger is necessary. It could be a problem if someone wanted to wear thick socks.

nice fit and sturdy

Great ankle support in a light-weigh boot. The cut of the boot looks narrow but it fits well on my regular feet. Someone with a narrow foot might be able to adjust the laces enough for a good fit. I usually wear a trail running shoe for hikes, light jogs and everyday wear but after a sprained ankle I wanted more support. This boot fits the bill, though it doesn't have the level of cushioning a trail runner provides. I will use this more for everyday wear, hikes and walks. Comfortable right out of the box, wore them all day. Loosened up after a week and then I added my own insoles. Held back a star since I haven't worn them long, don't know how long they'll wear, but they seem promising with a sturdy design.

No breaking in, fits like a slipper. Hard to get on though because of tight opening with toung stitched to shoe need a shoe horn. I will be using them for a trip to Mexico and some canyon hiking.

it's not usable because of bad smell.. (Leather is smelling very bad)

Bought these for my wife to upgrade from sneakers. Her main complaint about low hiking shoes is a sliding heel, and most boots hurt her ankles. The Amazon seems to be the perfect fit. These are much more stable that the other shoes she wore and give her better traction. The only drawback is that it takes her longer to put them on.
