“I'm not a climber but thought these looked like an attractive replacement for my "urban hiking" shoes that are getting worn out. I wore them the first time on a 3-mile walk and they were just fine. The 2nd time was an all-day, running around the city getting things done and not sitting down ever, at all. They were the right choice. I'm not sure what the sizing difficulties are that others speak of. But I wear these with hiking socks and they are true to size for me. I got the tobacco color, which is more like a dark mustard than a tan. Judging from the interested looks they get, others like them too. I have found my summer city hiker!”
