Asolo Calypso Gore-Tex® Hiking Shoes - Waterproof (For Men)

These Asolo gore-tex shoes are very light and comfortable. I have a relatively narrow foot so they fit well. The nondescript brown suede goes well with casual clothes but the true test for this shoe will be in june when i test drive it in Costa Rica!

good fit.. a little stiff but this is a plus for stability.. great traction for hiking.. the only cons is the shoe lace hole were not easy to put through but this minor.. great look for a hiking shoe and can double as an everyday wear for business..

Really nice pair of cross-over shoes. After reading other comments, I'm glad I ordered a half-size above my normal size, since it seems Asolos often run a little small. Otherwise, excellent construction quality, low-key styling, and all-around usability.

Asolo are the best fitting shoes bar none. Buy the ones made in Romania because they are cut on a european last and feel close to a custom fit. Have been wearing Asolo for years and will wear nothing else. Great product, great price and consistently great performance.

This is my first pair of Asolos, and I was pleasantly surprised that these shoes wear like an athletic shoe and were comfortable right out of the box. However, these are SHOES and not boots, so do not expect ankle support. They are suited for light hiking and city trekking. I have worn them several times while walking the dog in the rain and my feet have stayed dry. Plus, they look nice enough that I can wear them at work. The only upgrade I can think of would be for Asolo to put heavier laces on the shoes.
