    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I've been ordering shoes and boots from STP for many years and this has been the only disappointing and non-fitting shoe I've purchased. I ordered up half a size and it was still too narrow. I don't even have super wide feet either. Not very comfortable as far as cushioning and not as cute as in the photos either. I returned them (a rarity with me on STP).

    Finally a shoe that fits my wide foot, plus a little toe abnormality which this shoes does not irriate! I threw out my white tennis shoes in favor of this one becaue it looks better and goes more places.

    This is the third pair of Asolo shoes I have purchased from sierratradingpost.com. The other two were hikers. This brand of shoe seems to be made for me. Perfect, secure, comfortable fit. Durable. Your feet don't really know they are in shoes! I did not give this one, a casual shoe, a 5 rating because the arch support could have been better. Otherwise, perfect.

    The Asolo felt broke in right away, however was too soft in the arch. I was able to get a wonderful feel by putting in my orthodict insert. Looks great with jeans.
