I bought these because I needed a good pair of travel shoes.
I love them! On a recent weekend trip with lots of walking, these were the only pair I took and they were great. Literally no break in time.
I happen to have a C-D width foot and these in a B were very flexible.
I like the color and they... Read More

My only problem is with the laces. They are hard to work with.

I bought these shoes as an attractive alternative to athletic shoes for wet weather. They look a little more stylish than a sneaker and they don't have the higher collar of a hiking boot. they are just right.

I bought these for a month long stay in Costa Rica during the wet season. Just walking on dew covered grass got my toes wet. They are likely water resistant, but not waterproof as advertised. But getting caught in a ten minute downpour was the deal breaker. Not only did my shoes fill with water, they didn't drain so I was stuck walking around with water sloshing in my shoes until I could return home. It took a day for them to dry out and the coloring/texture was not the same afterwards.

If you aren't concerned with the waterproof aspect, they were comfortable shoes and didn't require breaking in. I wore them on short hikes, no problem. I would have kept them had they been waterproof.

I required a second pair of lightweight, supportive walking shoes this time to use everyday, due to my problem with prolapsed spinal discs. More for casual use, shopping and around the house etc. Although I haven't had or used them for very long, they are very comfortable. I had read a review where someone used them extensively for travelling O/S and agree they would be great for such purposes and if on ones feet alot.

These are comfortable and nice looking shoes that are attractive enough to wear to work. I have yet to wear them in the rain so I can not comment on the waterproofing but in my experience gore-tex is the best.

    Great deal.
