Bought one pair then three more. Waterproof! Stable in all terrain. I've even waded in these ten days in salt flats. My first pair have finally been designated for the garden. Not sure what others find cheap about them. Compared to what? I can destroy a pair of cheap shoes in a matter of days and my first pair is nearly a year old. I'm certain they are approaching 1000 miles of wear. Hazmatty approved! Oh and I'm buying another pair while they still have my size!

Replaces previous hiking shoes, now wearing out. In addition to providing excellent support and grip on rocks, they are comfortable enough that I don't need to take them off immediately after completing the hike.

Got these one week ago, wore in a rainstorm while fishing and stayed bone dry. Becoming more comfortable as they are broken in. Initially stiff as boards and no arch supports. Improving with wear.

I bought these as a comfortable shoe that I could use for everday stuff as well as some light to moderate hiking. You shoud buy these a half size smaller than your measured size. They are very roomy and best for wide feet. I have a normal width foot and these were way too wide. My foot slides around too much which results in blisters. They also need some insoles as they have as much padding as a cheap dress shoe. I think that a shoe priced as these are, should not require additional money to be spent to make them wearable. They do not have a high arch which would not have been a problem for me seeing that I am almost flat footed. So if you don't like much cushioning, have a wide foot with a low arch, then perhaps these shoes may be for you.

Rarely do you find a comfortable shoe that is also tough as nails! I work outdoors on a golf course and can easily destroy a pair of shoes each season. My first pair made it two years, hopefully these will too. Love these shoes!

These shoes seem to be great right out of the box, I'm thinking a bit of break-in time will make them even better.

Had to return these shoes as they were way to narrow for my feet. I would have returned them even if they would have fit me as the shoe seemed cheaply made which surprised me for an Asolo product.
