Asolo Contour Gore-Tex® XCR® Trail Shoes - Waterproof (For Men)

This makes my first pair of Asolo shoes and so far I really like them.

This is the most uncomfortable show I have ever owned. Someone mentioned placing a pad in the shoe to add some cushion to the hard sole. This shoe definitely needs one. The thing is if I'm spending [$] for a shoe I shouldn't have to shell out extra cash to make it comfortable. I have never had to do this with any other shoe I have owned.

I have a problem with the joint at my big toe. This shoe has a little stiffer sole and prevents excessive bending at this point.

Got the shoe for and extended backback trip. Instant breakin. Had to order a half size larger than my regular size.

Just ordered my second pair for when my first pair eventually wear out. I wear these in the hills and around town; these are good for just about everything you would expect them to be, except I don't get much lateral support for when things get really rocky. Good looking too.

I WORK OUTDOORS. THIS SHOE IS GREAT FOR WARM WEATHER TRAIL USE. GORE TEX ADDS TO BEING ABLE TO WALK THROUGH MUD AND WATER ASOLO IS A GREAT BRAND. THESE SHOES WILL LAST THROUGH YEARS OF EVERYDAY USE.

I hike daily on mixed terrain, both on and off trail. The shoe is comfortable with plenty of room - both in width and length. I have not experienced any blisters. Traction is good. The shoe has also maintained its waterproofness through the first couple months and seems durable thus far. The shoe has a narrow heel though and lacks stability for good ankle support. In some ways, the shoe feels a bit like walking in a biking shoe - not uncomfortable, but the forefoot feels higher than the heel area and my ankle is more prone to twist.

Good fit with plenty of toe room. Good all around, supportive shoe.

Bought one pair then three more. Waterproof! Stable in all terrain. I've even waded in these ten days in salt flats. My first pair have finally been designated for the garden. Not sure what others find cheap about them. Compared to what? I can destroy a pair of cheap shoes in a matter of days and my first pair is nearly a year old. I'm certain they are approaching 1000 miles of wear. Hazmatty approved! Oh and I'm buying another pair while they still have my size!
