I have a wider foot so you need to purchase a half size larger to compensate as these shoes tend to run narrow in regular sizes.

I have enjoyed Asolo boots for 25 years and these trail shoes, though lighter on the feet than boots, carry on that great tradition. They felt like they belonged on my feet at once. And they are handsome. My wife liked their appearance at once.

Reviewed by Will Ambrose from Virginia on Monday, April 22, 2013Very comfortable out of the box...I have a wide foot (E), so I can understand the cinching complaints of those with narrow feet who buy their actual size. I suggest a thick gel sole insert in any case, as I install these in all my shoes as a general rule anyway. The thick rubber sole makes these hikers heavier than I thought they'd be, but that gives them a sturdiness I appreciate. Hope this helps...Happy hiking!
