“Multi-sport shoe? In what Universe, one wonders. Light and flexible on the plus side, they markedly lack support and cushioning. So, somewhat as with people, their strengths are their weaknesses. I indicated that they'd be good for travel. This is primarily because they don't look like athletic shoes (from street to museum to jazz club without anyone raising a disapproving eyebrow), and their soft flexibility would allow them to be easily tucked in a suitcase. But if you're looking for a shoe to keep pace with you while you do a walking tour of Prague, these probably aren't your best friend. I'm in Los Angeles, where walking is less a necessity than an accident, so for me these shoes are great. My new favorites, in fact, to stroll from my house to my car, where I keep Scarpa boots and extra socks in case of a sudden hiking emergency.”
