Used for daily wear/training. A good stout boot minus a waterproof membrane (a plus for me). Fit is similar to a Danner stitchdown boot. Comfortable and no break in required. Fits my feet as if made for them.

I really like these boots. I work around areas of loose rock that ripped the soles off the last pair of hiking boots that I purchased. These are (if you pardon the pun) rock solid. Size and fit are perfect. HOwever, my pair do have a slight manufacturing error that causes the tongue of one boot to creat a pressure point on the inside of my ankle. I have to move the material out of the way to be able to wear the boots comfortably. I give these boots a 9.5 out of 10.

I was looking for a rugged mid weight boot for spring mountaineering and this fit the bill for me. It fares well on and off trail in snow and wading through streams. I worried that the grip would be poor but found it did well overall, even when wet. My snowshoes latched easily to the boot. This is a comfortable boot, even after 10 hours on the trail.

Bought these boots for my first backpacking trip hopefully this summer! Ive been wearing them to work (building decks) for half a day and switching to my normal boots for the other. After about 2 weeks of this and a nice Spenco insole they are starting to feel like the boots I wanted. Like the others said they are a bit difficult to lace but not impossible. Im pumped to get these on a trail!

I liked the boots but they were a bit narrow. I returned them for a wider boot and am looking forward to receiving them.

I returned them as the uppers were hard and uncomfortable and they came with mud on the soles!

I too buy men's boots instead of women's. I honestly found these the most comfortable boots I have ever owned (and I have had dozens of pairs), and immediately out of the box. I do a lot of hill walking and hiking over rough terrain for work and fun, so dont know how well they will last with many seams, but hope forever.
