“This is a really well built pair of boots with terrific ankle and foot support. They will need some breaking in as they are very stiff right out of the box, so allow some time there. The boot height is a prefect balance between supporting the ankle and saving weight. The sole seems to be a very sturdy and hard rubber, good for longevity,less good for traction. Comfortable lace tension can be difficult as this model, unlike others in the Asolo line, doesn't have the locking speed lace first above the standard eyelets, so you can not have the laces tight above the arch and loose at the ankle.”
