I tried a pair of Asolo boots on the recommendation from the guy who built my log house. I tried the Echo, like it so much that I've now got a couple of backup pairs on the shelf. The Echo has become my everyday shoe, my work shoe, and my go to church shoe... even though it is a boot. It is comfortable, provides very good support, is easy to lace up, looks good...

Bottom line is when your on a construction site the grade is often rough and you need the extra support of a great boot. The traction is second to no construction boot and the durability exceeds expectations. Also Reccomend the FSN 85 and 95 for the heavy work load days or out in the cold

These are a great pair of boots and I'd recommend them to anyone wanting medium duty hiking boots with allot of arch and ankle support. I hike often and need boots that will not slip or fold under lateral load or on scree, underbrush, etc.. Love the soles. They are very solidly made, all around.

A boot with a good stiff sole that is grat for walking in the mountains wearing a medium loaded backpack. Need some time to break in, so it should have been worn some time before you go on a longer trip.

Appears to be a rugged, tough, and durable boot, but requires some break in. I walked about 3-4 miles in these before I hit a 4K peak in the Dack's. 2 inch T-Storm the night before gave the trails a dousing and were extremely muddy, some of the worst I've seen. These boots left me with a sock that would make Curt Schilling jelous. However that's my fault. I am looking forward to hitting the Whites in 3 weeks and I think I'll have a good, rugged serviceable boot by then. Great traction on the Dack's famous rock slabs, even the wet! Handled the mud well, dispite not being water proof.

Put them on right out of the box and they fit like a glove. I have wide feet and the wide width boot was perfect! No break in time, light and comfortable. Great boot great price!

I bought these boots for everyday work wear as I am a contractor/remodeler. While they do give excellent support they are way to stiff for everyday wear and I doubt that they will break in to my desired comfort level. The first day I wore them they chewed a pretty good sized raw spot next to my ankle but that can happen with a new pair of boots on the break-in. I did take them out hiking and they performed excellent. They are very sturdy and have great traction.
