Asolo Echo Hiking Boots (For Men)

They are a great boot. I wear them all day everyday. I haven't had a problem with them yet.

Lace them up and off you go.

This is a fantastic boot. Great for any outdoor activity (winter or summer). Also a great looking boot for everyday casual wear.

These boots have been wonderful. This is my first pair of Asolo boots since my return from Southern Iraq. I wear boots through some of the worst weather conditions in Colorado.

As Asolos go, these are relatively stiff with good support, which I like, while being on the lighter-weight end of the spectrum for hiking boots. The lace system is better than most. The only shortcoming is the tongue is not so connected at the sides to the body of the boot, so if walking through snow it might leak in there.

A lot of boot for the money, I purchased these boots for an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan, a lot of my buddies have used Asolo before and had good success with these boots.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas because he requested them. He previously purchased another pair for work and, although he wore them out, they held up well.

This is a really well built pair of boots with terrific ankle and foot support. They will need some breaking in as they are very stiff right out of the box, so allow some time there. The boot height is a prefect balance between supporting the ankle and saving weight. The sole seems to be a very sturdy and hard rubber, good for longevity,less good for traction. Comfortable lace tension can be difficult as this model, unlike others in the Asolo line, doesn't have the locking speed lace first above the standard eyelets, so you can not have the laces tight above the arch and loose at the ankle.

my only real complaint is the bulkiness of the tongue, it presses against your leg when the boots are laced up
