    These boots are well made and should last for some time. Only had them a few weeks, so who knows. Fit is a hair tight, so they really are true to size, leaning toward the small side. Glad I ordered a wide! Break-in was more than just one day. These boots are somewhat stiff, but you should expect that in a well made boot. Lacing takes some getting used to due to having metal eyelets and no way to grasp the lace when pulling tight. Not expecting much traction from the tread design, but on trails, it's not an issue and easy to clean. Very good support. If I had anything bad to say, I wish they were Gore-tex, but thats' on me.

    Just bought these so have not put many miles on yet, but feel confident they will take the punishment. Based on other reviews I ordered half size larger and they fit perfect. One design flaw i found is the outsoles are quite narrow beneath the arch, which compromises stablility on rough trails. Will take some getting used to. probably not good for those with a history of ankle problems. Water will enter boot through mesh panel so I plan to apply external waterproofing spray.

    I was looking for some boots I could wear all day without being footsore and lame the next day. These Asolos hit the mark. They are comfortable, well built, not heavy but still solid, and give great support. They lace up easily and are good looking. They do not give the best traction on wet rocks and logs but seem to grip everywhere else just fine. I ordered the wide and they give my toes plenty of wiggle room. I added some STP insoles which give more cushion and a little higher arch support that I like. Great boots available at a super price! i will order these again, a-yup.
