“I bought three pairs of Goretex trail running shoes so that I could pick the best fitting pair. These were my favorite out of the three. They had a roomier toe box than the others and I liked how light weight they are. The padding around the ankle was not thick like the pair that was a second runner up. I felt like the extra padding might cause some chafing and added some bulk that I thought I wouldn't like in the long run. Very satisfied with these shoes even though they are made in China and were the most expensive pair.”
