This is the first time I've ordered hiking shoes. I got them in a timely manner, they're exactly like pictured and true to size. I haven't bought hiking socks yet, so hopefully, they'll fit okay, as I understand they are a thicker sock and that's why people ordered the shoe a 1/2 size larger. They were a little stiff so to break them in, I walked three miles and they were comfortable. I'm not sure how they will feel when I actually go hiking in Arches, Bryce Canyon and Zion. So far, they seem like a high-quality and comfortable shoe, so we'll see.

Really like these boots. I am a hard user and use them up every year, but I always order another pair. They fit right out of the box, they are waterproof, light weight and they go for miles on the trail and off the trail. They are good with a pack up to 50 # or so.

These boots fit great and hardly needed "breaking in". Wore them a week before hiking the Grand Canyon. My feet were comfortable and blister free the entire week, made the trip a great experience.

They run a full size too large. Since I have wide Fred Flintstone feet I figured it best ignore the reviews and order my size. They had good heel stablization and great traction. There was just the right amount of stiffness and flexibility in the sole, and the ankle was well supported. However, the toe box is ample and wide. I normally wear a women's 10 and probably would have done fine with a 9.5 or even a 9. Sadly they had to go back.

Took these boots brand new on a 7 mile hike to a place called punchbowl falls. Thiugh the trail was pretty easy with brand new boots I expected some soreness at least. NONE! Hiked through rocks, and water... The water proofing on these boots are great, in about 7-8 inches covering the boot my feet were 100% dry! Comfortable the entire hike! No blisters or sore heals at all! I would definitely recommend then to another hiker!

I would give these 5 stars except that they do run a little narrow in the foot box and when my feet swell when I'm out on the trail I got a little pinkie toe rubbing that resulted in a blister. Otherwise, I LOVE these boots! If you have narrow feet, these are great for you. If you have wide feet, don't get these. If your feet are regular like mine, you may be okay, or you may get a pinkie toe that rubs like mine. I hiked all day in the pouring rain, through puddles and streams, and my feet stayed bone dry. First time I've ever experienced that and I love it!

Haven't worn them on a hike yet, but right out of the box they are comfortable, seem really supportive, and light weight. I'm looking forward to using them on the trail. I've had Asolo brand before, so trust the brand, loved those boots, and wore those boots until the sole delaminated and couldn't be repaired. I am a size 10, kind of narrow foot.

This is the 2nd pair of these boots I have owned. The material, structure, fit and comfort are great. I used my first pair for 4 years working in the Wyoming mountains for an outfitter. Horseback and ATV rides in the summer, then hunting in the fall. These boots were used daily; working around base camp, leading clients out on hikes, tending to the horses and cooking in the cabin's kitchen. Thru it all, they held up nicely for the most part. The only drawback was that the glue at the front of the boot started breaking down in that first season making the toe of the top of the boot start to separate from the base. I just found some shoe glue, dabbed it in the "break" and kept on going. They held well after that. I was pleased enough with them that after looking at other boots, I chose these again.

A little heavier than I would have chosen, but an excellent sturdy boot and toe protection. Color is more of a sand or khaki color. It looks gray in this picture.
