Love these boots! I hike just about every weekend of the year and there was NO break in period - very, very comfortable right out of the box. I ordered my normal shoe size and the boots have plenty of toe room and fit great! I would most definitely buy these boots again!

I have very narrow foot entire length yet these boots feel tight on all sides. I wear size 7 1/2 to 8 so i ordered 8 and they feel tight...wearing indoors to see if i get used to them. Love the look and they are very well made. Doesnt feel like a "hug" like others have stated...feels more like stiff boot that must be broken in. Foot bed is hard and minimal true arch. Wish there were enough room to insert a true arch support. I prefer to be barefoot so I may be bias in my opinion...thus my reason for wearing boots in home for break in period. Hope they get better in time as they are very well made.Order larger than normal size ladies! Better yet drive to store who sells Asolo to get fitted for exact size, then order online from Sierra.

I am a true 7.5 and this boot was at least a half size too long yet the width was just right at that length. I will not be reordering a smaller size because I think the boots would be too narrow in a size smaller. They are very well built boots though and I am disappointed that I won't be able to use them.

These look like great boots, it's too bad that they seem to run both small and narrow. I've tried shoes in my size, and sizes up, and I can't get the shoes to fit properly. The toe box especially is small, and leaves no room for good hiking socks. If you do order, order at least a half size up, if not a full size. I'd rate the shoes higher, but if shoes can't fit you without being two sizes larger, what good are they?

Great boots - couldn't get them tight enough, I felt they ran a little big. The box was in European sizing but the ordering was in US. Sad to return them.

I got these as a second pair of Asolo hiking boots to add to my collection! Boy was I mistaken!!! NO 2 ASOLO BOOTS ARE ALIKE!!! I read the other comments posted about these boots but chose to ignore them. PEOPLE READ THE COMMENTS! I have a pair of Asolo 535 boots with gore-tex. AWESOME boots! These I tried on only and got blisters within 15 min. I was almost crying with pain. They hurt my feet and I could not get them to fit. That being said, I have returned them!

I sent them back, very disappointed. They were too big, so had heel slippage. They were too heavy, and extremely uncomfortable. Perhaps they work for a rugged hiker, but I'm into trails, and for the average hiker this boot might be too "rugged".
