“I first ordered a pair of Vasque boots because I have owned them before. Before I wore them I read other reviews on these and decided to order a pair for myself and a men's pair for my husband. I rarely wear anything smaller than an 8.5 but ordered an 8 after reading other reviews. I have plenty of room in the 8 and they are an excellent fit. We live in Wisconsin and wore them today for a two hour hike where we encountered uneven terrain, crackling ice, water, mud, and snow. We were both delighted with the phenomenal performance, comfort and support of these boots. Another reviewer said that the light color caused concern regarding getting dirty. I was amazed at how everything seemed to slide off them and they look very clean.”
