“I originally intended to use these boots for an extended backpacking trip, but I decided at the last minute to instead use my similar (but leather) Asolo boots because of increased insulation and water resistance. These boots are really great, though. They're comfortable, easy to break in, lightweight, and durable - they've served me well backpacking in snow, rain, and harsh terrain (but don't expect them to hold out water in river crossings). I highly recommend them!”
