Exceptional boot!

Finally put these to work out on some more rugged terrain in Lassen Volcanic Park. Hiked miles over dusty, rocky, basalt terrain, even snow/ice (in August!). They instilled confidence with every step. Ankles are stabilized, toes protected (even from some serious stubbing on rock and root). Temperature was even inside the boot, though we were trekking over snow and ice in 80 deg air temp. Soles are able to shed mud easily, but grip on rock, shale and through creeks. Fit perfectly right out of the box. We brought some duct tape along in case of potential blistering, but didn't need to use it. No hot spots, no friction, no foot sliding, no cramping. Overall an excellent outdoor boot (our principal uses are for extended day hikes and snowshoeing).
  • Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Rocky/Unstable Terrain
  • Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable, Good Arch Support, Good Cushioning, Great Traction, Lightweight, Stabilizes Foot
  • Sizing: Feels true to size
  • Was this a gift?: No
  • Width: Feels true to width
