“Not as good as I'd hoped”

“I haven't been out that much with the shoe so I can't tell what it'll be like in the long term. I'm coming from a pair of Raichle Mountaineering boots that I wore daily for all types of uses. So far this boot is disappointing mainly because of the laces and the hooks. I can't lace it up tight enough to close the upper shaft without cause pain to my ankle. This makes the boot very loose around my ankle and lower leg. Probably will stay away from asolo just like I do timberland and vasque. I think Merrell's is a better buy for the money.”
