Purchased in size 9, thought extra room for socks or workout feet would be good. Very large (at least 1 inch too long). Returned for 8 and perfect fit. Took 1 hr walk thru city with light sprints in mixed weather: 3-inches of snow, slush, dry asphalt, 25 F; good performance. Good cushioning, stability, traction without being too stiff. Still some breaking in needed. Can't wait for tru trails or more snow.

These run VERY large; I returned exchanged my first pair for 1/2 size smaller, and the 1/2 size smaller was still way too big. The lacing at the top is hard to loosen, making the shoes difficult to get on and take off. The cushioning is minimal with basically no arch. The shoes are nice looking and appear very durable, but I'm returning mine because of the poor fit.

Bought a half size smaller than usually as another consumer suggested and they fit great.

I don't run any more, so these shoes are used for working outside and hiking. These shoes are definitely all-weather and protective around my ankles.

Very comfortable, not too heavy, and still supportive enough for trail running/hiking in spring and fall.

The boots are very stiff feeling and I've decided to return since I'm concerned even after wearing them they won't become more flexible. Because they were so stiff the arch didn't move with my arch for support. I have Asolo hiking boots and love them so I was surprised. Difficult adjusting the laces when taking them on and off - again too stiff.

Many companies have shortened the last on their women's shoes but not Asolo. These shoes are perfect! I do not have my toes perpetually bumping again the end of the shoe.

These def'ly run big-- had to return my regular size 9.5 for 9. I was hoping that the larger size would help with width (i have wide feet) so i didn't size down, but 9.5 was way too long. The width of the 9 actually felt fine at first, adequate all-around, until the 9th mile (hiking). Then the edge of the shoe started to really cut into the bottom outside edge of my feet, and cushioning/ protection began to feel insufficent, thin and hard. But they're fine for the shorter runs/hikes...

It's really about a size too big. I use them primarily for wilderness hiking and wear very thick socks so it works out okay for me.
