Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
“These boots are designed for light mountaineering, and they have features specific to that: They have a very stiff midsole, burly vibram soles, full rubber toe rands, crampon attachment points at the heel. Unlike heavier traditional mountain boots, they are not high cut; and they allow a lot of ankle flexibility for climbing/scrambling -- very nice. But, what's also very nice about these is that they also are comfortable enough for the long walk to the peak. The sole has some rocker to it and it results in a very natural stride on easy terrain. Highly recommended.”
