“My first pair of Asolo hikers were the most comfortable and the best fit online or in stores. There was literally no break in period and they were as comfortable as my runners, but good support and lots of room in the toe box, and I ordered my usual 6.5 M. The 5.5 seems to be the best fit, but as I mentioned I put a gel heel to accomodate the ankle rub, and hopefully the toe box will stretch with use. I would caution others who want a perfect fit. If I were using these for more than day hikes these would go back.”
