I have a wide foot, so sized up 1/2 size. They are gorgeous, well-made shoes. I can't wait to try them out on the slab approaches at Tuolumne Meadows this summer.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Karenc from Sun Valley, Idaho on Monday, April 14, 2014These shoes are great - they look narrow, but have plenty of room in the toe box (I need WIDE shoes), so I was pleasantly surprised. I've been on a couple 1 1/2 hour hikes to break them in, and all is well. If you need a large toe box, these will work for you. I did not have to size up too much, either (I'm an 8 1/2, but order 9 due to the width).
Reviewed by FLnative from florida on Friday, January 10, 2014I have bought many asolos from stp over the years. Most work, but these have a defect at the toe. Where the black toe cap meets the suede, there is a crease which pushes down on my big toe. They are a great looking shoe ...I bought two pairs in fact but both have the defect. Sadly they are going back. Bought the asolo shiver too... no problems with them. In fact I just ordered another pair. Love the shiver.
Reviewed by Epsilon from San Francisco on Friday, January 3, 2014These seem like sturdy, comfy shoes but they definitely run large. I wear an 8 in street shoes and never anything smaller than a 7.5, but in an 8 these felt huge on me. Going to try them in a 7 and hope they fit since they really do seem like good shoes.

Reviewed by City Hiker from NYC on Wednesday, June 12, 2013After receiving and trying on I was disappointing to find the size runs a good 1/2 size or more too big. In looking to see if I could exchange for smaller size the are not available. I had to return. I did find other versions on STP and found that postings on the other versions have the size issue called out. Just not for this version. I really liked the look and color on these.
