5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoe - sizing errorReviewed by Outdoorgirl from Northern California on Thursday, March 16, 2017This is the third pair of these shoes I've bought. I love them. They are roomy in the toe box, are supportive and very grippy. Sizing is off. If you look at the Asolo sizing chart in the description, the European sizes listed are the correct size. What is not correct is the US size conversion for the European sizes. I wear a size 37 European. Which is usually a 6.5 in US size. A size 6 in Asolo brand was a 37.5 European and was my correct size. If you go by the European sizes, you will get the right size. You can ignore the US conversion.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great for people with foot issuesReviewed by madison gardener from Madison WI on Monday, February 6, 2017I am coming off of 3 years recovery from a ruptured fascia. Then broken toe on the other foot. Then a bad sprain on the first foot, with accessory navicular syndrom complication. SO-- I have been dealing with foot issues for 5 years. I have tried a TON of different shoes during that time. This is my 1st & 2nd purchase of Asolo shoes. I loved them from the first step! I followed advise on other reviews and sized down to a 9 from my usual 9.5. These shoes have a sturdy sole, great support on the inside (arch/navicular bone area) and outside as well. The bonus is the lacing- it allows you to tailor the fit to your foot. This shoe does have a nice wide toe box which is good for me, without being wide at the heel. I got both colors! Waterproof Gortex and Vibram sole are bonus for hiking and walking!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great fit!Verified Buyer Reviewed by madison gardener from Madison WI on Sunday, February 5, 2017Super comfortable and fit right out of the box. The shoes were true to size and required no break in time. I did swap out the insole for one with the better arch support as other reviewer's had suggested. Nice and trendy looking too. Laces make for all over adjustments if needed. I'm coming off 5 years of foot injuries, so I'm pretty picky.

5.0 out of 5 stars. asolo shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from KY on Wednesday, January 11, 2017Item delivered as ordered, just did not fit. Unfortunately I have a very narrow foot and it did not work out. Sierra Trading Post is a pleasure to deal with.

2.0 out of 5 stars. SizeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Asolo from Washington on Wednesday, December 28, 2016The only reason why I will give this product 2 stairs is because of the size. My wife wears a 37.5 in eu and a 7.5 in us. They do not match up. Their size is a 7.5 is a 40 eu. And a 37.5 Eu is a 7. It is a great shoe but the reason why they are sold at this discount store is this whole line of shoes sizing is off.

4.0 out of 5 stars. My 3rd PairVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sheri from AZ on Tuesday, November 22, 2016I love this shoe. It has a nice wide toe box. It is sturdy and yet enough flex to walk comfortably. My only complaint is the very very low quality insole. There is absolutely no arch support or another support to the insole that comes with it. I happen to use insoles I purchase from my foot doctor so problem solved for me. However, just a warning that you will most likely want to replace the cardboard piece they call an insole for something more substantial.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect for PeruVerified Buyer Reviewed by Walking with the Hounds from Boise on Tuesday, November 8, 2016I am so glad I bought these shoes and I am so glad I listened to these reviews and went down an half size. I have been having some foot pain and needed the rigid sole of these shoes. The only thing other thing to know is the insole that comes with this shoes is ridiculous. It actually has a slick bottom that slides around when you walk? Weird. I had already planned to buy an insole so it wasn't a big deal to me but if I hadn't, I would have been annoyed that it just added $40 to the cost.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not overly comfortableReviewed by R. Shaw from New England on Monday, October 31, 2016This shoe looks fine and the sole is quite grippy, both pluses. But if you need arch support, it doesn't have any. It's pretty stiff feeling all in all and the inner sole is not cushiony at all. The shoe seems well made but it's pretty roomy. For me, it runs large. I normally take an 8.5 but ordered an 8. I still have room to wear thicker socks - which feels better than a thin sock since it provides a little more snugness. The material of the shoe feels rather rigid and a lot of wearing still hasn't made it much more broken in feeling. But I will stick with them since they do have a sturdy and grippy soles.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfy!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Wowmom from Colorado on Monday, October 31, 2016These were the second pair of Asolo's approach shoes I bought. The first pair had mesh sides which were great for summer hiking. The design of the laces gives the ability to conform the shoe to your foot and Vibram soles are the best for rock scrambling. I am very happy with these shoes and am always sorry to see when such a good product is listed as a close out.
