No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“I bought these boots for a fall backpacking trip where I needed to cross snow fields. I liked that they had excellent traction on snow, and they were very lightweight and waterproof. But after only one week of hiking in rocky terrain, both boots had holes in them. Maybe they would last longer if you only use them in the snow, but I would have expected better from Asolo.
Unlike others, I found that these boots ran about 1/2 to 1 size large.”
