    It is difficult for me to find boots that fit - the front of my foot is wide, but my heels are narrow and i have a high instep - I can wear these with socks and be comfortable, without a breaking in period.

    These boots feel great! I hike daily on snowy/icy paths and haven't had any problem yet with traction. They have nice ankle support and are VERY lightweight. They are going to be perfect with my snowshoes.
