Asolo Master Gore-Tex® Fleece-Lined Boots - Waterproof, Insulated, Multi-Sport (For Men)

I bought 2 pair for my son in 2 sizes. He tried on the 1st pair and would not take them off, they were too wonderful on the feet. I was going to return the other pair (as planned), but a friend at work tried them on and fell in love with them. He is keeping them. We have not tried them in real cold or wet, so I can make no claims there. Just that they are very comfortable.

First winter in Chicago and these have been great for walking my dog along the lake -- even at 10 degrees or less and with 2x the average snowfall, my feet have been warm. It's been a while since I've owned a pair of light hiking boots, but it's hard for me to imagine much better. They are light, excellent ankle support, good traction, and comfortable. If there's a drawback, it's that they're not the quickest in and out, but they're lace ups and ankle height so your compensation is great ankle support.

I had to send this product back because the sizing was too small. I normally wear 81/2 and ordered a 9. The 9's fit was too snug even with thin socks.

Overally I'm very pleased with the boots, and would certainly buy again. They are lightweight, warm, stylish looking, easy to get into, and have nice foot contour. They could use a little more cushion under the foot, but this is a complaint I have for most boots in general. This is only an issue if you are standing all day in them. I wear mine pretty much daily to and from work, and on weekends for skiing excursions, and walks through snow. They hold up very well, looking as good as the day I bought them. Oh, the price is also great, and they shipped quickly.

Great light winter boot. Very warm and snug. Waterproof and breathes pretty good.
