“I use these boots for hiking on the small mountains around town. The only other brand I've tried are Vasques, and these boots are much better. I go hiking 4 times a week, and I was lucky to get 4 months out of a pair of Vasques. I get 6 months out of these, which makes them less expensive over time. The traction is better and I've noticed that even when they do slip, they tend to catch better/quicker. The only negative I can even think of is that I tried using a thicker insert, but due to the tight fit, there wasn't enough room.”
