Asolo Prolix Gore-Tex® XCR® Trail Shoes - Waterproof (For Men)

First pair of sneakers i have owned in 10yrs. use for everyday like the breathability of goretex in a sneaker

I've very active and hard on all shoes. These seem to by holding up well running on the road. I wouldn't pick them for trail runs, well not the trails I run on anyway. They don't hurt my feet, I like them.

Bought the shoes for winter training but shoes are way to stiff and unresponsive for serious running. The heel is too high so there's not much stability and you're constantly making an effort not to sprain your ankle. Waterproof only up to point, mine was second heavier rain. And in the next snow turned into slush storm they leaked. Need to apply waterproofing spray, but that's really too soon, I have them only two and a half months. Then again for the discount price I paid I couldnt get any waterproof shoes. Still a letdown.

These are more for off trail hiking, I wouldn't recommend them for everyday.

Glad I read the reviews, the shoes do run at least a 1/2 to full size large.

Some reviews said they run large, others did not. In my case they felt nearly a size larger than my normal 10 (and I wear a 10.5 in Adidas shoes). Order a half size smaller, but don't be surprised if they're still too large.

A number of reviews I had read suggested going smaller on size, which I did. For me at least, that was a mistake and I ended up exchanging them for my normal size. You may want to order 2 sizes and see which one works. Aside from the sizing issue, I am very happy with the selection.

This was my first time with a pair of Asolo's and have since fell in love with their products. I have used them on several different hikes in different terrain. Excellent shoe the traction and the comfort are superiour.

Extremely comfortable and good looking boot at a great price. Very impressed. Not for heavy duty trail walking or hiking, but more for recreational walking, aerobics. Good looking, great support.

Unfortunately, shoes were too large, had to return them.
