Reviewed by North22 from Vermont on Monday, March 24, 2014Unilke my last pair of hiking boots, these were very comfortable right out of the box. No rubbing at ankle, plenty of support and plenty of room. I have not used them for hiking yet, but they seem as supportive as most light hikers I have owned. I have worn them all day for a couple of days, and they were alright at the end of a day on my feet. I look forward to getting out with them. .
Reviewed by REEDEE from WILD WONDERFUL WEST VIRGINIA on Sunday, September 1, 2013VERY DISAPPOINTED !!!! SPENT HOURS, YES HOURS, RESEARCHING MANY BRANDS & MANY MODELS OF HIKING BOOTS. SETTLED ON ASOLO AND WAS VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING MY ASOLO HIKING BOOTS !! BOOTS CAME AND IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THE BULKINESS OF THE BOOTS. WORE TO WORK NEXT DAY TO BE CERTAIN THE BOOTS WOULD DO WELL FOR UPCOMING HIKING TRIP. . THE FIT WAS RIGHT BUT FELT VERY CLUMPY AND MORE LIKE THE BOOTS WERE WEARING ME ETC.... THESE BOOTS ARE CONSTRUCTED WELL, DEFINITELY WATERPROOF, BUT I CANNOT GET PAST HAVING LOOKED AT SO MANY PICS & VIEWS OF THIS BOOT AND THEN TO GET THE REAL PRODUCT TO SEE THE BOOTS ARE SO MUCH MORE BULKIER & CLUMPY THAN ANY OF THE PICTURES I LOOKED AT ON LINE !! I AM GOING TO RETURN THE PURCHASED ASOLO HIKING BOOTS AND CONTINUE ON WITH RESEARCH. MY SUGGESTION IS TO SHOW BOOTS AS THEY WILL LOOK ON REAL MODEL'S FEET !!!!
Reviewed by Biologist from USA on Wednesday, May 22, 2013Light weight, comfortable water proof boot. Good for on-trail, light hiking. Sole does not have traction or durability for off-trail hiking. I hike 3-5 days a week as part of my profession.
