I thought the sizing on these shoes was perfect. I wear a size 6.5 most of the time in regular shoes. I usually have to size up in hiking shoes to get that extra room in the toe so when I'm hiking/running downhill I have the extra room I need. I was able to order my true shoe size and get that ex...

Just purchased these shoes. The soles have really good traction with out being too bulky like many of the regular hiking boots. So far a easy to keep clean and seem pretty durable. The shoes themselves seem somewhat narrow, but feel like they will loosen over time. I would recommend some sort of jell insert if wearing these shoes all day.

These are exactly like the last pair of Asolo low hikers I have enjoyed for several years. However, they run really big. I wear a 9 or 9 1/2 shoe and have narrow feet. I didn't quite trust that my last pair was an 8 1/2 and that I should order that size again--plus there was no 8 1/2 in the color I liked. So I ordered a 9 and they're too big. Otherwise, a good shoe, even (especially?) for narrow feet.

These shoes are great for hiking on rocky terrain because of their sturdy soles. I can't wait to wear them to town on a rainy day to see how they do on a hard surface. I like the neutral color (got the gray).

The reviews about these shoes are spot on: the shoes are sturdy, comfortable, and run BIG. I wear a 7.5 in a dress pump and an 8.5 in a running shoe to accomodate an orthotic and thick wool socks. Based on the reviews, I ordered these shoes in an 8. I received the shoes about a week ago and took two 5-mile neighborhood hikes on pavement and through a hilly, paved walking park. I need to wear my thickest socks, and then the shoes fit very well. I hiked on sand dunes, in the rain, yesterday. My feet stayed dry and the shoe support on the steep and uneven dunes was great. The shoes are also more stylish looking than other trail shoes I have worn. The weight is light, as well.

These are super-comfortable, sturdy on the trail, and move well. The soles are a harder than usual (even for trail shoes), but certainly prevents rocks/roots from creating any shock. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they fit right out of the box; and even though the toe box LOOKS narrow, they aren't. I have a wide forefoot and these shoes are great. (Still waiting to test the waterproofing, but loving them so far!)
