Gore-tex is the best! My feet stay dry and warm. These shoes are very sturdy, perhaps too stiff at first, but seem to be forming to my feet. They really do run big, though. I wanted to wear heavy wool socks so I bought the size I would usually buy in Merrells or New Balance. I probably should have returned them for a 1/2 size smaller but with a full (thin) insole, plus my orthotic under the shoe's standard insole, and thick hiking socks, they will be great for running winter errands.

This is a perfectly well constructed, utilitarian waterproof shoe. It runs really big. I'm usually a 9, occasionally an 8.5. I ordered the 8 and it's only workable with thick socks. I should've ordered a 7.5.

Good looking, waterproof and durable shoe. But, the back of the shoe rubs on heels causing blisters. Beware if you have narrow heels like me. Unfortunately had to return this shoe.

I ordered these shoes with reservations because of the previous reviews on sizing, but ordered 1/2 size down. This is an excellent gore-tex shoe that provides good support without being too heavy or clunky looking. The grey and black shoe looks great for both casual and outdoor wear. There is plenty of toe room and a snug fitting heel that doesn't slip. I have plenty of lateral support and plan to wear this shoe walking in Europe this winter. Break in time is minimal. I wore these shoes the first day for 12 hours.

Frustrated with sizing. Ordered half size smaller and too loose in the heels. Ordered 1 size smaller now my toes are touching. As far as the looks go, I ordered gray and they are attractive, not too bulky, can go with most casual clothes. Walked through a lot of wet grass and the moisture is staying out. They only feel truly comfortable if I wear some medium weight wool socks. Otherwise toe bed too stiff on toes. These are more stable than previously purchased Asolos and like the height, but due to sizing issues may look for another brand next time.

I thought the sizing on these shoes was perfect. I wear a size 6.5 most of the time in regular shoes. I usually have to size up in hiking shoes to get that extra room in the toe so when I'm hiking/running downhill I have the extra room I need. I was able to order my true shoe size and get that extra room. These shoes are very light and have great traction. I've hiked in mud and crossed creeks in them, and I like the Gore-Tex. I hike 2 or 3 times a week, and am very happy with my purchase.

I needed a pair of shoes that were comfortable to walk in, but waterproof, for walking my dog in bad weather. I also plan to use them for casual hiking. I ordered a half-size large, and they are definitely big enough for a thick sock. They are stiffer than a sneaker, but that is expected. I probably will put a shoe insert in to pad the bottom, but they are OK as is for short walks.

Good for day hikes once you figure out the sizing. This shoe REALLY is one full size too large. I didn't believe it, ordered one half size down - too big, drove to Cheyenne, and got the full size down and they fit great! Used them day hiking and they are pretty good except for really rocky terrain - then you would need something with more ankle support.
