Asolo Smarty Gore-Tex® Hiking Boots - Waterproof (For Women)

This boot is great right out of the box. It's comfortable and my feet stayed warm. I sloshed around in slush/water the day I got them and my feet stayed dry. After a day of wearing them they were "broken in". I love the ankle support, my foot feels stable and the boot is not heavy and cumbersome. I normally wear a size 8 and decided to order an 8( even though the note says it feels a half size big) for a little extra thick sock room and it fits great. And the purple color was the clincher. They are great boots.

So far so good. Other reviews said they felt a bit narrow for medium feet; since I have narrow feet I hoped they would fit correctly, and they do. They are comfortable on first wearings, and worked well on rough, rocky frozen ground. Haven't had a chance to test them in wet weather yet.

Stable fitting with good support to the ankle. New boots are always worrisome the first hike but these boots were comfortable and feeling better after that first outting.

I really like these boots so far. I just got them a couple of weeks ago and they are comfortable. They go up higher than I am used to on the ankle, so I make sure that it's a bit looser at the top for comfort. I have been out in the snow with them, and my feet stay dry. I haven't been out climbing in them yet, but will when the snow melts.

These are very comfortable and light. The other reviews are correct that the sizing is off. I usually wear an 8.5, so I ordered and 8 and they fit perfectly. I'm going to buy another pair. Love em'!

Great Lightweight boot. The best I've had. Just a few small points that need a little work. Otherwise, I highly recommend them.

Excellent, waterproof shoe. Very lightweight, yet it is sturdy in its support while hiking. Not clunky at all. My only complaint is a slight pinch in my pinky toes. I'm going to stretch it out slightly (1/16th of an inch is how close it is to perfect). I have wide feet so this is not a concern with people who have average width feet. I normally wear 8.5 wide shoes and ordered this in an 8.5 since other reviewers said it ran big. Fits perfectly through the heel and length so i wouldn't order a larger size anyway.
